The White stripes, a grunge rock band from Detroit, like to keep things simple in the most complex way. Innovative vocals and guitar from Jack White mixed with steady beats on the drums by Meg White make a musical composition that encompasses that very idea. And what better movement than De Stijl is there to translate that sound into something visual?

Through the use of complex overwhelming line yet simple color, chaos yet intentional white space, and shape created by things that aren't shapes I created a music catalog to honor The White Stripes and to show just how complex simple can be.
